Relevance AI, an Australian startup revolutionizing business automation with AI Agents, has secured $24 million in Series B funding to accelerate the development of its platform that enables companies to build intelligent, task-specific digital workers.
Australian Startup Powers the Future of Work With Intelligent AI Agents and Visual Automation Tools
Australian startup Relevance AI has raised $24 million in Series B funding, bringing its total to $37 million. Founded in 2020, the company helps businesses create AI agents—smart digital workers that handle complex tasks with little input.
The funding round was led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with continued support from King River Capital, Insight Partners, and Peak XV.
AI Agents Take Center Stage
Interest in AI agents is surging, with global investment up 81% and over US$8 billion poured into the sector. Relevance AI leads this trend, offering a platform where businesses can build collaborative, autonomous AI agents tailored to their operations.
New Tools to Power the AI Agent Ecosystem
To coincide with the funding announcement, Relevance AI has launched two new features to make creating AI agents easier. The first is a visual multi-agent system builder, which lets users design how agents work together. The second is what the company calls the world’s first text-to-agent generator—allowing users to create and deploy teams of AI agents using simple text prompts.
“Our goal has always been to help businesses build their own AI teams,” said co-founder and CEO Jacky Koh. “Until now, AI has mostly been used to help with individual tasks. But the real value comes from building teams of AI agents that can work together and handle complex tasks on their own.”
Market Traction and Global Ambitions
In January 2025 alone, more than 40,000 AI agents were created on Relevance AI’s platform. Its rapidly growing customer base includes well-known names such as Roku, Nine, and Autodesk. The company plans to use the new capital to further develop its AI agent capabilities and expand its global footprint.
Relevance AI is not just riding the wave of interest in automation—it’s shaping the next frontier of enterprise productivity through powerful, intelligent AI agents.
