Manchester-based health and sports tech startup Prorizon has secured £400K in pre-seed funding to enhance its AI-powered platform, which provides personalized and preventative interventions for managing physical and psychological stress.
The funding round, backed by GC Angels and Innovate UK’s Investor Partnership Award with the Department for Digital, Culture, Media, and Sport (DCMS), will help Prorizon expand its reach, particularly in professional sports and the U.S. college sports market. The company expects to generate £200K in revenue by the end of 2025.
Prorizon’s app allows users to monitor and manage stress, focusing on long-term health optimization. Co-founder and CEO Joly Fengyang Zou emphasized the company’s mission to provide a holistic approach to well-being. GC Angels’ investment manager Ranvir Singh praised the startup’s innovative fusion of mental and physical health solutions, predicting strong industry impact as Prorizon scales.
